Even though it wasn’t televised, many were anxiously awaiting the results of the NBA All-Star Draft. Captains Stephen Curry and LeBron James had their pick of the other 22 players in the pool and no one had any clue how the rosters would eventually turn out.

Most assumed that LeBron, who had the first pick, would take Kevin Durant but there were no guarantees. And who would Curry go with after that? Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Davis, and James Harden would all make sense.

Everything has finally been revealed and as expected, LeBron did have Durant on his team, along with the New Orleans Pelicans’ big man duo and his current and former teammate via the NBA All-Star Twitter:

Curry’s team meanwhile has a couple of his teammates along with the Greek Freak and the always popular Joel Embiid via NBA All-Star Twitter:

These are definitely some interesting teams as LeBron’s squad has a lot of size with Cousins, Davis, Durant, and Porzingis not to mention some dynamic point guards in Irving, Westbrook, and Wall.

Curry’s team on the other hand has some serious shooting with himself, Thompson, Harden, Lillard as well as their bigs in Embiid, Horford, and Towns. And with the Greek Freak on the squad anything is possible.

The only thing that would have made it better is if everyone had been able to witness the selection process itself. LeBron going on Twitter to say how much fun it was and calling for it to be televised next year certainly didn’t help that feeling. Now everyone just has to hope the game is as much fun as this process seemed to be.
