While most of the attention surrounding the Los Angeles Lakers draft pick centered around their No. 2 pick and their selection of D’Angelo Russell, the team also drafted Larry Nance Jr. and Anthony Brown.

— Have you seen the ‘Lakers Nation’ phone case? —

The Lakers introduced their trio of rookies in a press conference Monday at their El Segundo practice facility. Brown grew up a Laker fan growing up in Southern California before he spent his college years at Stanford. He talked about understanding what it means to be a Laker and will take plenty of pride wearing a Laker jersey via Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

In his four years at Stanford, Brown grew into one of the nation’s best shooters and had a 40.3 three-point percentage during his career. He figures to be part of the Lakers small forward rotation with his shooting ability and defensive potential.

The rookies join the Lakers as the team looks to put their past two losing seasons behind them. They will represent the team during the Las Vegas Summer League and try to establish some early chemistry. Last year’s rookies, Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson, Tarik Black, and Jabari Brown will also be on the team.
