According to Kevin Ding of Bleacher Report, Steve Nash will be ruled out for the entire 2014-15 NBA season with nerve issues:

The nerve issues proved to be too much to handle for Nash as he attempted to bounce back heading into his 19th NBA season. There has been no announcement for Nash’s retirement as of yet, but it will likely be expected after he made it clear that the 2014-15 NBA season was going to be his last.

If it truly is Nash’s last season, it has been an incredible journey for the Santa Clara product. The two-time NBA MVP has defied the odds throughout his entire career and is almost certainly destined to be a Hall of Famer in the near future.

With Nash reportedly done for the season, the Lakers will likely turn to Jeremy Lin as their starting point guard moving forward. All signs point to Lin be the starter with Ronnie Price and Jordan Clarkson coming off the bench.
