The Los Angeles Lakers may have struggled last season, but the Los Angeles Dodgers made a deep playoff run last season. This year, it has been more of the same as the Dodgers have the best record in the National League.

Things aren’t quite as bright for the Lakers as they were projected to finish 12th in the Western Conference by ESPN. But one bright spot this off-season was the hire of new head coach Byron Scott.

Scott is one of the greats from the ‘Showtime’ era, and Lakers legends rallied in support of his hiring. Fans are also extremely excited to see what Scott will bring to the team.

Scott was celebrated at Dodger Stadium tonight when he was was able to throw out the first pitch before the team’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Ever the athlete and competitor, Scott threw a strike — a much better outcome than Nick Young’s attempt in April.
