The legendary Lakers broadcaster helped revolutionize the way games are called today, and was truly a pioneer in his business. From his 3,338 consecutive games to the ‘Chick-isms’ that are so recognizable today, Francis Dayle Hearn was one of the best the game has ever seen.

From the slam dunk to the air ball, Chick Hearn’s new terms are now commonplace amongst NBA, NCAA, WNBA, and International basketball.
