The modern athlete has fallen in love with social media. Whether it’s Twitter, Facebook or a variety of other sites, superstar athletes have used social media to give their fans a level of access that is unprecedented.

However, not all athletes utilize social media as much as others. In fact, some don’t use it at all.

One of these athletes that doesn’t use sites like Twitter to connect with his fans is Kobe Bryant (although he had a Twitter account for a couple hours this summer before it was taken down).
