James Harden Expects '20-Year-Old' Kobe Bryant in Season Opener

What level Kobe Bryant will return to this season is one of the biggest questions heading into this season, not only for the Lakers, but for the NBA as a whole.

Bryant is one of the greatest players of all-time, but coming off two major injuries and having just turned 36, no one knows how good Bryant will be at this point in his career.

The Lakers are set to host James Harden, Dwight Howard and the Houston Rockets on opening night in front of what should be a raucous crowd at Staples Center.

Harden, a Los Angeles native, spoke with The Postgame about Bryant, saying that he knows Bryant has been working out and that he is ’20-year old Kobe.’

Kobe has admitted he won’t be the same as he was in those days, but he has been working on evolving his game and if he can put the numbers from that time, the Lakers could surprise some teams.
