Former Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls head coach, Phil Jackson, called it quits last season when he was swept out of the NBA playoffs. Jackson has spent the majority of his life around basketball and although Jackson did not leave on top, he had an incredible career which included 11 NBA titles.

The Zen Master has moved on from the Lakers and the Bulls, and although there have been rumors saying Jackson will come back to coaching, he has remained quiet thus far.

Even Jackson’s long-time companion, Jeanie Buss, cannot say whether or not the legendary coach will return to the sidelines. “I can’t answer that question,” said Buss. “Only he can. Nobody’s called him. Unless somebody calls, we won’t know how to answer that question.”

At this point, rumors and reports have been saying that the Knicks would be a likely destination for Jackson. However, at this point all of that is speculation and it will take some serious effort for the Zen Master to return. He obviously has a love for the game of basketball, but his health will be a major impediment.
