The Lakers have been rumored to have major interest in Dallas Mavericks point guard Rajon Rondo, and after squaring off with him Sunday night, Clarkson praised Rondo according to Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation:

Rondo also had some kind words for Clarkson via Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

Clarkson had another solid night for the Lakers with 26 points and six assists, while Rondo flirted with a triple-double totaling 11 points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds. Both had turnover issues with Clarkson committing four while Rondo committed three.

Though he has impressed, Clarkson still has a lot to work on, especially as a pure, pass-first point guard. Rondo is the exact opposite, excelling at setting his teammates up, but struggles as a shooter.

No one is sure what the Lakers will do this off-season, but Clarkson has already said that he would be fine if the Lakers brought in another point guard. Clarkson has proven that he can play off the ball and the two could easily play together if the team was to bring Rondo in this summer. The Lakers will have big decisions to make in the summer for sure.
