Heading into tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings, Kobe Bryant is 63 points away from passing Michael Jordan for third on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. If Kobe continues to average about 25 points, the five-time champion will pass Jordan this Sunday on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

With the Los Angeles Lakers struggling, all the attention has been on when Kobe will pass Jordan on the scoring list and most thought it would occur on Christmas Day against the Bulls in Chicago. Over the last couple of weeks, Kobe has talked about his relationship with Jordan and shares that there is a mutual respect.
