Kobe Bryant has had a lot to say recently. Last week, he called out the Buss family, and spoke on his expectations for the Lakers’ off-season.

This morning, Bryant appeared on The Dan Patrick Show and spoke on a number of topics ranging from his injury status to his conversations with Jim Buss.

Bryant also spoke about President Barack Obama and according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters, Bryant has a lot of confidence in the President’s basketball skills:

Bryant, of course, was not attempting to insult the current Lakers roster, but rather compliment the President’s skills. Obama is a known basketball fan who watches as many games as he can. Obama is also known to invite NBA players during the off-season to play pickup games.

While Bryant is a well-known trash talker, as Nick Young will tell you, he also knows the line and what buttons he can and can not press.

Like many African-American athletes, Bryant has a lot of respect and admiration for Obama as a person and a leader.

It is fun to think about what Obama would look like in a Lakers uniform. The Lakers could use an extra point guard right now. Maybe Obama is the answer.
