Kobe Bryant Talks About Possibly Joining Instagram or Twitter

As one of the few superstars in the NBA that has been reluctant to join some of the most popular social media outlets, Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers may finally be changing his tune as he’s considering creating an account on Instagram or Twitter.

Kobe has been more and more active on his Facebook page as of late and that may have led to considering other ways to get involved with fans, fellow athletes and teammates. Kobe’s recent post on Facebook clearly states his interest in branching out:

“On a social media front, I’m thinking about potentially branching out some more and want some feedback, Instagram or Twitter??? Or is there another platform I don’t know about.. I will lean on your feedback. My Facebook will remain the same. :-)”

The five-time NBA champion joining Twitter has been rumored for quite some time, but Kobe has been content with regularly updating his Facebook page instead.

If Kobe does join the Twitterverse, the entire starting five of the Lakers will be accessible on the social media platform.
