The Lakers will open up the 2010-2011 season on Tuesday when they host the Houston Rockets.  The team will receive their championship rings on the same night, and that may also be one of the few times fans will see Kobe Bryant on the floor.   Bryant is still recovering from his knee surgery, and has not been close to 100%.   Kobe will most likely miss tonight’s pre season game against the Golden State Warriors, and will be playing limited minutes to start the regular season.   Both Bryant and Andrew Bynum will be spending a lot of time on the bench early on in the season, which means the rest of the team must step up.
