Kobe’s Rap Album Surfaces With Fantastic Old-School Pictures

Alright. So I was scouring the internet today pretending to be productive when I stumbled across some fantastic things. Eric Freeman, of the Ball Don’t Lie blog on Yahoo! Sports, seems to have found a copy of Kobe’s debut rap album from 2000. The album, aptly titled “K.O.B.E.” did not exactly launch Bryant into lyrical superstardom like he might have hoped. But now, 13 years later, it’s wonderful to look at and be amused.

Now, the front of the album I have seen many times. It’s all over the place if you type “Kobe” and “rap” into Google. (One quick disclaimer, make sure you spell rap correctly.)

Anyways, it was the image of him on the back, in which he’s apparently dressed for winter in Saskatchewan, that caught my eye. I just have so many questions!

For instance, which one of Donald Trump’s wives did Kobe borrow that jacket from?

What are Kobe’s thoughts on Timothy Treadwell?

What’s Bagheera the panther like in real life?

I would love to see Kobe’s reaction to this picture if you showed it to him now. I would show him the image personally, but I don’t feel like being murdered and stuffed into the ceiling of Staples Center along with Slava Medvedenko.

Oh, Kobe. You may be “old as s—” now, but at least you’re a much better dresser.
