Lakers Draft Workouts: McConnell, Jones, Pangos, Tuttle, Wells, Walker

The Los Angeles Lakers kicked off their first day of pre-draft workouts on Tuesday morning with six prospects in the potential late first and second rounds. Bryce Dejean-Jones is a 6’6″ senior guard out of Iowa State, who also played for USC and UNLV.

T.J. McConnell is a 6’1/2″ senior point guard out of the University of Arizona who received numerous collegiate awards, including Second-Team All-Pac-12, Pac-12 All Defensive Team and Pac-12 All-Tournament Team. Kevin Pangos is another senior point guard, who played all of his four seasons at Gonzaga and was recently named West Coast Conference Player of the Year in 2015.

Seth Tuttle is a 6’8″ senior power forward, who played all four seasons at Northern Iowa, averaging 15.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game in his final season. Maurice Walker, 6’10” power forward out of Minnesota, also played all of his seasons at the same college, receiving All-Big Ten honorable mention as a senior.

Dez Wells is a 6’3″ shooting guard out of the University of Maryland, named 2014 All-ACC Third Team.
