In his second season with the Los Angeles Lakers, Jodie Meeks has added to his overall game and is much more well-rounded offensively than he was during the 2012-2013 season. Last season, Meeks was widely regarded as a spot-up shooter who struggled when forced to put the ball down on the floor.

This season, Meeks has shown the ability to routinely hit a tear drop floater and score off the dribble. Meeks’ evolution has resulted in a higher field goal percentage this season, up to 46 percent from last season’s 38 percent and he is also raised his 3-point shooting percentage to 40 percent. In the Lakers 107-106 win over the Portland Trail Blazers, Meeks was one of several Laker players to throw down impressive dunks.
