So what is up with DENVER fan?? I understand the high altitude can be a bit of an adjustment, but Pepsi Center, control your wandering fanatics will ya? Okay, to game four in Denver we go where the Lake Show secured a 3 games to 1 series lead and could close it out on Tuesday at Staples Center. But it was no cake walk in the mile high city for the Lakers as they traded baskets for most of the game with the Nuggets. Kobe led the way with 22 points on Sunday night, but it wasn’t one of the Lakers all-stars that put this game away. Ramon Sessions hit a big 3 late in the 4th to put the purple and gold ahead and almost close the game.

Then, with 18.9 seconds left, Kobe found Steve Blake open in the corner
and nailed the three that would put the dagger to the Lakers 92-88 victory. The Lakers now could close things out on Tuesday night, here at home. Oh, and that lady you saw in the second quarter wander on
to the court? She told the officer that grabbed her, “Where’s Kenyon”? Nugget fans…

Around the league the Bulls are now one game away from a first round exit as they fell to the seventy-
sixers 89 to 82. Carlos Boozer had a nice game with twenty three points and eleven rebounds, however
that was not enough to make up for the absences of Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose. The sixers could
become only the fifth eight seed team to advance from the first round.

Meanwhile in New York, Amare Stoudamire didn’t find his way through a fire extinguisher, but he was
able to put out the fire that is the Miami Heat. The Knicks survived to see another day as Stoudamire
contributed with 20 points and Carmelo DOMINATED by putting up 41 points against Miami, leading the
knickerbockers to an 89-87 victory. But, bad luck struck the Knicks again in the third quarter when point
guard Baron Davis dislocated his right kneecap. Where’s THIS guy when you need him?

And at TD Garden, the Celtics ran away with game four and took a commanding 3-1 series lead by
crushing the Atlanta Hawks 101-79. Pierce put up 24 points and Rondo was good for 20 and 16 assists.
And who says the Lakers are the only team that attract Hollywood super stars? Presidential hopeful and
former governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney took in some playoff action with his wife Ann, during
game four in Boston. Hey…who can blame him…with an opponent in November who can do a little of
this, it’s no surprise that he’s doing everything he can to get ahead.

And finally, we have to congratulate the Los Angeles Kings for advancing to the Western Conference
Finals for the first time in 19 years! The men in black SWEPT the number two seed St. Louis Blues on
Sunday with a 3-1 game four victory at Staples Center. They are now four wins away from the Stanley
Cup Finals and the last time they were this close – Wayne Gretzky was in uniform, Tommy Lasorda still
coached the Dodgers, and Randy Pfund was the Lakers head coach. I think I just lost about half of you.
