When Julius Randle and Brandon Ingram are playing at this level, not even an unacceptable number of turnovers can do in the Los Angeles Lakers.

Ingram and Randle each had double-doubles as nine players scored in double-figures to offset 23 turnovers in a 123-104 win over the Atlanta Hawks.

The win gave the Lakers 26 on the season, matching their total from all of last season. Helping the Lakers overcome their issues taking care of the ball was another hot shooting night, excellent ball movement, and lockdown defense.

L.A. shot 52.2 percent from the field and 45.5 percent from deep while holding Atlanta to just 37.5 percent on the night. The Lakers also had 28 assists.

Ingram led the Lakers with 21 points to go along with 10 rebounds, six assists and three blocks, taking over the game in the third quarter when a Hawks run threatened to make things close. He left late in the third after cramping up, but not before delivering a hammer dunk over Mike Muscala.

Randle continued his excellent play with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Lonzo Ball was solid in his second game back from injury with 13 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals. He also made all four of his shots from the field, three of which came from deep.

The Hawks, who have now lost four straight and six of their last seven, were led by 24 points from Taurean Prince and 20 from Dennis Schroder.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (10 points, 14 rebounds), Isaiah Thomas (13 points, five assists), and Kyle Kuzma (10 points, nine rebounds) all contributed for the Lakers who will now see a step up in competition after three straight wins against some of the league’s worst teams.

Next up is a trip to Miami on Thursday against the Heat, before finishing up their road trip in San Antonio against the Spurs on Saturday. They will then return home to host one of the NBA’s hottest teams, the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday.
