Superstar Kobe Bryant has been out of the lineup for the Los Angeles Lakers since Dec. 17 after the five-time NBA champion went down with a knee fracture in his left leg.

Although it seemed as thought Bryant might be back against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday, the perennial All-Star was re-examined and said to be out at least another two weeks but possibly out as much as another month.

On Tuesday night, another update was given on Bryant’s status according to Mike Trudell of Lakers.com:

With the Lakers dealing with multiple injuries to players in the backcourt, the storied franchise had to go to the D-League to find players to shoulder the load. Kendall Marshall has done a great job filling the void at the point guard position while Manny Harris continues to improve with every passing game.

Although Bryant will be out at least three more weeks, not much will change for this team outside of the fact that Steve Nash, Jordan Farmar and Xavier Henry might return before him.
