The Los Angeles Lakers received more bad news on the injury front on Friday with newcomer Xavier Henry set to be out of the lineup for another 10 to 14 days according to Bill Oram of the OC Register:

Henry went down with a bone bruise in his right knee in the loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Dec. 29. Initially, Henry was set to miss seven to 10 days before being re-evaluated, but has now missed a total of 12 games with the Lakers only winning three of the 12.

Although Henry will still be on the shelf for another two weeks or so, the Lakers are starting to see the majority of their injured players make progress. Steve Nash may return from his back injury as a early as Tuesday against the Indiana Pacers and Kobe Bryant will be re-evaluated for his knee injury in February.

Along with Bryant getting checked out in February, Jordan Farmar and Steve Blake are getting closer and closer to getting back on the floor. Farmar is expected to return in mid-February while Blake will be re-evaluated after the current road trip.
