The Los Angeles Lakers are teaming up with Operation Gratitude to support the United States’ servicemen and women. Lakers’ head coach Mike Brown, the Lakers Girls, 150 season-ticket holders and other staff members will participate in the event during this season of giving.

The event will take place on Sunday, Dec. 4. between 9:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M. local time at the California National Guard Armory in Van Nuys, Calif.

During the three hours, those participating will assemble care packages for troops in deployment, while at the same time encouraging support for local

U.S. Service Members. Operation Gratitude typically sends over 100,000 packages per year, which include snacks, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation.
