Today on LakersNation TV…the Lakers blow a 40 point first quarter against the Rockets…King James
would like to see D-Fish in a Heat uniform, and the purple and gold commit 16 million dollars to a big
man for next season. Let’s get started…

Hi everyone I’m Jason Barquero and boy what a tough tough loss last night for the purple and gold, 107-
104 at the hands of the Houston Rockets. All looked good in the first quarter when the Lakers ended
with a 40 to 25 lead. They held their own for most of the game, but the wheels came off when Andrew
Bynum was ejected with about a minute left in the third quarter, for having so NOT so nice words to say
to the officials. It looked as though they would hold on, but the Rockets went on a 12-0 run, late in the
third quarter and never looked back from there. Kobe managed to score 29 points, but he went ten for
twenty-seven from the field.

And this shouldn’t surprise anyone but after all the talk of Dwight Howard coming to the Lakers, L.A. will
reportedly pick up the final year of his contract option at 16.1 million dollars for the 2012-2013 season.
Bynum told ESPNLA yesterday in Houston, that he’d like to sign an extension with the Lakers. Bynum’s
agent David Lee said that the Lakers management will be the ones to decide when to open those talks.
“Their call”, Lee said. “Ball’s in their court”.

Derek Fisher seems to be getting close to bolting over to the Oklahoma City Thunder. According to
several sources, the Thunder and the Miami Heat are the two main suitors for the veteran guard.
Lebron told reporters on Tuesday that he doesn’t Fish as a bad fit. King James went on to say, “one
thing you know about him is that he’s a winner”.

So I leave you with this question, Lakers fans…do you go into contract negotiations and extend
Bynum’s contract to a long term? Or do you wait and see what happens with the rest of this season
and next season? Hit us up and join the conversation either on twitter, facebook, or right here – on
lakersnationTV. And as a reminder, if you have an interesting story to tell about your Lakers passion,

That’s all for now, and make sure you stay tuned tomorrow when our funny man, Pristesh Shaw gives us
his take on LETS BE HONEST. I’m Jason Barquero – we’ll see you tomorrow.
