The Los Angeles Lakers lost a close but exciting game to the Denver Nuggets in the second game of their NBA preseason schedule, but it was a close game that provided plenty of positive for the purple and gold. The young team appears to be developing chemistry quickly under the guidance of new head coach Luke Walton, giving fans hope for a bright future.

In the Lakers Nation podcast, I break down the game and analyzes the Lakers’ performance. He discusses Jordan Clarkson’s move to the bench, D’Angelo Russell’s breakout night, and a tantalizing rumor about the Lakers’ 15th roster spot:

I also take a look at who was the unfortunate winner of the “Kwame Brown LVP Award”, as well as who took home the “Kobe Bryant MVP Award” for the game. There is a lot to discuss in this jam-packed episode, so take a listen and be sure to check back after the Lakers take on Denver again in their third preseason game of the year on Sunday night.
