The latest edition of the Lakers Nation Podcast examines the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Sacramento Kings contest from Thursday night. The Lakers got back to their winning ways with a 101-91 victory over the Sacramento Kings.

It was an uphill battle, and the Lakers had to erase a 19-point deficit, but they refused to quit and used a second-half surge to get the win. Lou Williams was impressive for Los Angeles, scoring 21 points and helping his team close out the game down the stretch.

Bruising power forward Julius Randle also turned in a strong performance with 15 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. We dig deep on Randle and one major improvement that he has made since last season that has completely changed the way he impacts the game.

In addition, we take a look at why Timofey Mozgov has more value than the box score suggests, and finish things off with a discussion on whether or not it’s too soon to celebrate the Lakers’ surprising success. All that and much more in today’s episode of the LN Podcast:
