Lakers Nation Week In Review: April 12 – April 19

With a win over the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, the Los Angeles Lakers officially ended their regular season schedule. This season has been arguably the worst ever recorded in franchise history with a record of 27-55. The team’s main focus now is heading into the off-season with free agency and the 2014 NBA Draft.

The Lakers wrapped up their annual exit interviews from the players, Mike D’Antoni, and GM Mitch Kupchak. Some spoke about their high hopes for next season while and others talked about their uncertainties of remaining with the team.

During the exit interviews, Pau Gasol stated that playing with Kobe Bryant would be one of his main reasons to stay with the Lakers. Jordan Hill talked about being unsure to remain with the franchise, and Mitch Kupchak talked about numerous topics including possibly trading this year’s lottery pick.
