Lakers Nation Week In Review: Aug. 3- Aug. 10

Although the Lakers will be going into the season with lower expectations, the team is still a marquee franchise and will be playing on the league’s biggest days.

The new season will tip off on Oct. 29, and the Lakers will be one of the few teams suiting up on that night. At this point it is unclear whether or not Kobe Bryant will play, but regardless, fans will get to see the Battle of L.A. between the Lakers and Clippers.

It was a busy week at Lakers Nation, and here is a look back.

The Lakers have expressed interest in Anthony Tolliver.

Jeanie Buss said the Lakers lost the best closer in Jerry Buss. 

The Lakers will play a memorial game for Dr. Buss on Jan. 28.

Los Angeles and Golden State will play exhibition games in China. 

The Lakers will play in 29 nationally televised games in the 2013-14 season.
