The Los Angeles Lakers are struggling mightily and trade rumors have been dominating headlines.

The team is falling behind in the Western Conference standings and with many of its players injured, wins are hard to come by in Los Angeles. Kobe Bryant is still a couple weeks away from his return and the Lakers are missing his leadership both on and off the court. Steve Nash, Steve Blake and Jordan Farmar are also sidelined and the play making responsibility is in the hands of D-Leaguer Kendall Marshall.

It was a busy week here at Lakers Nation which featured trade rumors involving Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum and Kevin Love.

Lakers Nation News:

D’Antoni said Kobe’s participation in the All-Star Game will be entirely up to the guard.

Pau Gasol’s trade value has apparently plummeted.

There is a chance Xavier Henry will miss the season with his injury.

Kobe Bryant is expected to return on Jan. 28.

Derek Fisher said he felt for Bryant when he went down with the injury.

Rumors say Kevin Love wants to join the Lakers.

Pau Gasol’s off court efforts have been recognized by CNN.

Bryant continues to lead Western Conference backcourt players in All-Star voting.

Mitch Kupchak says the Lakers will not tank this season.

Chris Kaman is upset with the minutes he is getting this season.

The Lakers may be interested in Ike Diogu.

Los Angeles may go after Luol Deng this off season.

The Lakers waived Shawne Williams.

Gasol will remain a Laker for the time being after the Cavs decided not to deal for him.
