kobe and tdThere is still some time before the start of free agency, but the rumors are beginning to heat up in Los Angeles. As the Spurs and Heat are busy fighting for an NBA championship, the Lakers are trying to figure out a way to reach the Finals once again.

This week was once again dominated by the never-ending “Dwightmare” and other various reports about the team’s future. It was another hectic seven days for the Lakers, and here is a week in review.

Sources say the Lakers will not agree to a sign and trade for Dwight Howard.

Kobe Bryant may not end up retiring after next season. 

Gary Vitti said last season was the most injured plagued in the last 29 years.

Vitti went on to talk about Kobe’s injury recovery. 

Howard has reportedly added the Spurs to his free agent list.

Dwight Howard to play a turkey in the movie “Free Birds”

Howard and Chris Paul are reportedly trying to team up together.

Phil Jackson is counseling Lakers’ Jeanie Buss to improve the team.

The Lakers are interested in Will Bynum. 

The Lakers worked out Louisville guard Peyton Siva.

Pau Gasol to NBA’s Social Difference Award. 

Kobe Bryant won the Social MVP Award and the best Tweet award. 

Howard and Bryant won an award for the fake photo showing them “fighting.”
