With the coaching speculation still continuing, the Lakers have added University of North Carolina’s Roy Williams to their list of head coaches to replace Mike D’Antoni. A couple of days later, Williams would make a statement that in order to leave his job, the offer has to be better than his current position with the Tar Heels.

Being very vocal these past few days, soon-to-be free agent Pau Gasol mentioned D’Antoni’s resignation as “another factor” in free agency. Gasol also spoke about his interest in some teams as potential landing spots.

Finally, Kobe Bryant made an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and discussed various topics about the Lakers. He briefly spoke about Mike D’Antoni’s decision to leave the franchise and said that he didn’t care about his resignation. Bryant also spoke about hoping to have input on the next head coach management hires.
