The Los Angeles Lakers were back home on Friday night following a two-game road trip where they were unable to win either game.  The Sacramento Kings led for most of the game, but the Lakers rallied  for the home win behind a career-high 30 points from Jordan Farmar.  The Lakers hit 19 3-pointers, which tied the franchise record.

Kobe Bryant has only played in six games this season, but the five-time champion can still draw a crowd.  Bryant and Nike hosted a promotional event on Saturday at the Westfield Culver City mall to promote the latest release of his Nike Kobe IX shoe.  Along with discussing the Masterpiece Kobe IX, Bryant sent a warning out, saying revenge will be quick and sweet.  The injured guard also took the time to congratulate Allen Iverson on having his jersey retired by the Philadelphia 76ers with an Instagram post.

Friday was the only game over the weekend for the Lakers and they will be back on the court on Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers.
