The most pressing question in Laker Land continues to be when will Kobe Bryant make his return for the Lakers. Bryant again was a full participant in practice today and went full speed in 5-on-5 drills.
Bryant played with the starters during the team’s scrimmage and his team dominated the bench 21-3. Videos appeared of Bryant practicing and he looked very good cutting, sprinting, jumping, and landing on his surgically repaired Achilles.
Bryant said he felt great after the practice and was not sore at all. Teammates also said Bryant looked great and Bryant himself said he could play today if he had to, but stopped short of naming a comeback date.
Bryant’s backcourt mate, Steve Nash was also in the news as rumors surfaced that Nash was considering retirement due to his lingering injury issues. That was quickly dispelled as reports came in the Nash intends to return this season.
