Kobe Pt. 1Every Laker fan in the world is anxiously awaiting the return of Kobe Bryant to the basketball court. While there is still no set timetable for his return, Kobe did shed some light on his situation and what he needs to do to get back on the court.

In talking to the media after the Lakers practice today, Kobe revealed that he is running 100 percent on the Alter-G treadmill, meaning he is supporting his full body weight while running. Kobe also revealed that he has been given the green light to ramp up his training in order to regain his explosiveness and muscle endurance, as well as getting in shape in general.

While Kobe estimates that three weeks of rigorous conditioning will be needed for him to be where he needs to be, there is still hope for him to return in time for the season opener against the Clippers. And when he does return, there is a good chance that he could be seeing a lot of time at small forward due to the number of excellent guards the Lakers have on the roster.
