Thursday saw more rumors circulate over the upcoming free agency. While the Lakers have plenty of decisions to make over the summer, one of the most interesting deals with Pau Gasol’s future.

Since joining the Lakers in 2008, Gasol has helped the team win two NBA championships. However, as he has gotten older, injuries have derailed and slowed Gasol’s production in recent years. With Gasol hitting free agency, NBA executives made their predictions on where he would likely sign.

On the Lakers coaching vacancy front, Steve Nash came out and said he is too focused on trying to get healthy to have any input on the hiring process. Having known Mike D’Antoni for years, he felt his former coach wasn’t ready to commit himself to another year considering all the troubles he went through over the last two seasons.

In terms of the draft, another prospect is reportedly trying to angle his way to the Lakers as Croatia’s Dario Saric revealed his desire to be drafted by either Los Angeles or Boston.
