Last week, Los Angeles Lakers reporter Mike Trudell revealed on Twitter that Kobe Bryant went out of the country for an undisclosed medical procedure. While there were immediate concerns, it was later revealed that Kobe traveled to Germany for another round of platelet-rich plasma therapy on his right knee.

Last night, Bryant shared a photo on Instagram of the knee procedure he received in Germany. This isn’t the first time Bryant has shared a picture of a procedure to millions of fans. A couple months ago, Bryant shared an extremely graphic photo of his Achilles surgery.

Bryant has fully utilized the capabilities of social media and has brought the fans closer to his personal life and everything that goes on behind the scenes before he steps onto the court. Chances are that Bryant will likely be the first to announce his return from the Achilles rupture on Twitter or Instagram, and we’ll all be waiting.
