Before heading into Sunday’s preseason game against the Utah Jazz, the news broke about Jeremy Tyler being the first of potentially many players to be waived by the Los Angeles Lakers.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, Tyler will be waived and then sign a deal with a team in China:

The Lakers will have to cut the roster down to a maximum of 15 players before the start of the regular season. Tyler was one of four players invited to training camp along with Roscoe Smith, Jabari Brown and Keith Appling.
