While Wesley Johnson is hoping to play in tonight’s preseason game against the Kings, it is looking more and more likely that won’t be the case. As our Lakers Nation reporter Serena Williams reported, Johnson is doubtful to play in the team’s fourth preseason game tonight in Las Vegas due to a strained tendon in his left foot.

Johnson scored two points on 1-5 shooting in his only preseason appearance so far. He is expected to play a large role for the Lakers either as a starter on the wing, or coming off the bench. The injury doesn’t appear to be serious and the team is surely taking a cautious approach in the preseason.
Another key contributor is also unlikely to play as Jordan Farmar is likely to sit out his second consecutive preseason game tonight as well:
Jordan Farmar also doubtful for tomorrow – precautionary

Farmar has a strained right calf that is limiting him right now, but, like Johnson, this is more of a precautionary move as well. Coach D’Antoni is optimistic that both will be healthy enough to play when the team heads to China for a week long trip.
With D’Antoni still working out his rotation and seeing who develops chemistry, it will be important for both players to return soon as they will be integral parts of the Laker rotation.
