Fresh off the best game of his NBA career against the Detroit Pistons, Jordan Hill has established himself as one of the best players on the current Los Angeles Lakers roster.

With Hill quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with for the Lakers, the veteran power forward is hoping Kobe Bryant returns sooner rather than later. On Tuesday, Bryant participated fully during practice with the team and Hill claims that the five-time NBA champion is playing at 100 percent according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters via Twitter:

Over the past week or so, Bryant has been at the center of attention once again for the Lakers after finally returning to the practice floor. Although there’s still no timetable for Bryant’s return, the fact that he’s been on the practice floor has a lot of people excited about the prospect of him getting back in the starting lineup including Hill via Winters:

While Bryant continues to try and get his body right in order to return, Hill has helped shoulder the load for this team in the first 12 games of the season.

In a little more than 20 minutes per game this season, Hill is averaging a career-high 10.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Hill has been arguably the team’s best player thus far and has earned a starting role as a result of his improved play. Adding Bryant in the mix will only help this team that may be starting to come around after a rocky start to the year.
