Olympics: Basketball-Men's Preliminary-USA vs NGRThrough four games on their seven-game Grammy road trip, the Los Angeles Lakers are 2-2 after their two-point loss to the Chicago Bulls Monday night.

Tomorrow night poses the stiffest challenge as they’ll face the two-time defending champion Miami Heat before the two remaining games against the Orlando Magic and New York Knicks. With a few days off in Miami, it sounds like several Lakers players will take in a college basketball game tonight according to Dave McMenamin of ESPNLA.com:

Of course, the Lakers drafted Ryan Kelly in the second round from Duke last night and Kobe Bryant has a close relationship with Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski from his days playing for Team USA. Along with the Lakers connection to Duke, they could be getting a glimpse at a future Laker, freshman Jabari Parker, as it’s expected they’ll have a lottery pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.

Along with Laker players attending the game, Jeff Goodman of ESPN.com says two prominent Heat players will be there as well:

Throughout the season, the Lakers have bonded off the court and it sounds like their latest team activity will take place tonight.
