Well, to the surprise of very few, the Lakers dominated the first ever NBA Social Media Awards. After Dwight and Kobe won the “Snapshot Award” for their fake fight, Kobe won the “140 Character” for his amnesty tweet to Mark Cuban, and Pau Gasol won the “Social Difference Award” for being the world’s biggest Twitter sweetheart.

But the biggest award of the night went to Kobe, who took home the first ever “Social MVP Award” during Wednesday’s event.

Congrats, Kobe. This is almost as good as those Larry O’Brien trophies, right?

Although one Twitter user had a pretty good idea as to why Bryant won.

That pretty much sums it up.

Now, if only the Lakers could win ACTUAL awards, that would be great. Maybe next year?
