The Los Angeles Lakers were finally able to get Julius Randle back on the floor tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans after he missed three games. Unfortunately, early in the first quarter Nick Young went down with an injury which was bad enough that he needed to be helped off the floor and into the locker room.
According to Lakers reporter Mike Trudell, Young has been ruled out for the game with an Achilles strain:
Nick Young has a right Achilles' tendon strain. He’s out for tonight’s game and will undergo an MRI tomorrow in Chicago.

After an impressive start to the 2016-17 NBA season, the Lakers can’t seem to shake the injury bug with three of their best players being banged up as of late. Young recently missed time due to a toe injury and now the Achilles strain will likely sideline him for an extended period.
Young has resurrected his career this season after most had written him off. The veteran was expected to be traded or waived by the Lakers before the 2016-17 campaign, but he proved his worth to Luke Walton in training camp and followed through during the regular season thus far.
In 17 games, Young averaged 14.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 45.8 percent from the floor and 41.8 from beyond the arc.
