After losing 12 of 13 games, the Los Angeles Lakers have started to get back on track during the current seven-game road trip winning two out of three games away from the Staples Center.

Despite not having leading scorer Nick Young on the floor against the Boston Celtics, the Lakers were able to come out on top against their bitter rivals in the second game of the road trip. Fortunately, the momentum carried over on Sunday with the Lakers beating the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre.

Following the second straight win for the Lakers, Young spoke to the media saying the following about how the team is playing according to Janis Carr of the OC Register:

A bit of controversy started brewing following the loss to the Phoenix Suns in the first game of the road trip after Young was ejected for throwing a punch after getting thrown to the ground by rookie Alex Len. Young was suspended for his actions and openly disappointed in his teammates for not having his back during the altercation.

Fortunately, Young said he cleared the air with his teammates the following day and now it appears that may have helped bring them closer together with the Lakers currently on a two-game winning streak.

With three games in the books on this road trip, the Lakers will head to the Windy City to take on Derrick Rose-less Chicago Bulls at the United Center on Monday.
