The Los Angeles Lakers were able to extend their winning streak to a three games after taking down the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night at the Barclays Center without an injured Dwight Howard and a suspended Metta World Peace.

As if the team’s injury problems weren’t bad enough, Pau Gasol suffered a plantar fascia strain late in the fourth quarter and didn’t return after heading to the locker room with athletic trainer Gary Vitti according to Kevin Ding of the Orange County Register via Twitter:

Gasol’s status is uncertain moving forward. The team will await the results of the MRI.

The injury problems continue for the Lakers with Howard day-to-day with the shoulder injury, Jordan Hill out of the season and Gasol possibly out considerable time with his foot injury.
