After Dwight Howard was declared inactive for the Lakers’ first pre-season game tonight against the Golden State Warriors, coach Mike Brown named rookie Robert Sacre as Howard’s replacement in the starting lineup.

The decision was announced via the official Lakers Twitter account.

Sacre was the team’s only draft pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. He was selected with the 60th overall pick.
