Lakers News, Rumors, and Recap: Kobe Returns and the Pregame Report

The time has come. Kobe returns tonight to play against San Antonio to hopefully cinch a win over the Spurs. The last time LA faced them, we got beat by 21 points at home. With Gasol, World Peace, and Bynum recently stepping their game up, it will be interesting to see how they all adjust with the basketball force that is Bryant.

In the past 9 days, the Lakers have played the Spurs 3 timess; it’s almost like a mini showdown in itself, with each team having won one game. Tim Duncan should be on your watch list during tonight’s game. He may be turning 36 next Wednesday, but he scored 19 points against the Lakers this past Tuesday. Tony Parker is also someone to look out for, scoring 29 points and having 13 assists during the last match-up with the Lakers. For more pre-game information, check out our predictions for tonight’s game.
