Lakers News, Rumors, and Recap: Lakers Lead Nuggets 3-1

Game 4 was all sorts of intense this past Sunday! And what was with that lady walking onto the court in the middle of the game? I want to know what she was up to… but am happy she wasn’t able to get close enough to do anything harmful to the players.

The first playoff game on the road was messy, but the Lakers were able to overcome and win 92-88 last night. The game started out ugly; by halftime, the Nuggets were up 51-45, and were dominating us on the court. By the start of the 4th quarter, the game was tight. Both teams went back and forth for the lead, staying within a basket or two of each other. Ramon Sessions and Steve Blake in the end, shot two crucial three-pointers to seal the Lakers’ victory. Kobe Bryant lead the scoring with 22 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Andrew Bynum had 19 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks. Pau Gasol came away with 13 points, nine rebounds (five offensive), and six assists.

I may get my prediction of a five-game series. After all, I don’t expect L.A. to lose at home next game. This would mean Metta World Peace would miss the first game of the second round.

Were you at L.A. Live this weekend? See if you and your friends made it into our fan album from the ESPN Zone during Game 4.
