Lakers News, Rumors, and Recap: Lakers Play Game 4 Tonight

The Lakers have a chance to redeem Friday night’s loss against the Nuggets in Game 3 tonight tonight in Denver. Still on the road, tonight’s game is crucial; either the Lakers will come away with a big two-game lead at 3-1 or the Nuggets will tie up the series, adding intense pressure to the next three games.

In a few hours, Game 4 against the Nuggets will start, and the Lakers need to be on top of their game. A key to tonight’s game is to not have as many turnovers. Friday night, the Lakers gave away 15 possessions with turnovers. They also need to improve their rebounding. With two 7-footers playing, it’s not acceptable to allow teams to out-rebound them. The last thing the Lakers need is heart; Friday night’s performance was a little lackluster.

I would love to see the Lakers win tonight on the road and show Nuggets fans that they can’t be intimidated. Kobe had a word or two about zealous game-watchers who taunt the Black Mamba. He seems to feel fan taunting just adds to his drive to win.
