Lakers News & Rumors Recap: Houston We Have a Problem

Good afternoon fellow Lakers fans and happy Friday! I have one question for you… how excited are you for tonight’s game against the Rockets? The Lakers have won seven of their last nine games, upping their chances of a strong playoff position, and a win tonight would keep them as the number three seed in the playoffs. The Rockets currently are tied for the 7th spot in the playoffs, but are only a game and a half behind the fifth slot, which should make them hungry for a win tonight.

Bynum scored big against the Clippers two night’s ago with 36 points and will hopefully continue to bring the heat on the court tonight. Kobe had a big game with 31 points and as of late, has really been playing like an MVP candidate. On average this season, the Black Mamba has scored 28 points and six rebounds per game, helping out the Lakers big time.

As for the Rockets, Marcus Camby has been a great help defensively with his exceptional rebounding and guarding. He is someone to look out for tonight. Courtney Lee could also pose some problems; he is averaging 16 points per game in Laker matchups and is a great defender.

For more insight into tonight’s game, check out the Lakers vs Rockets pre-game report.
