The latest candidate to have to sit down with the Lakers brass is none other than the potential frontrunner in the opinion of many. Byron Scott reportedly interviewed by the Lakers on Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Chris Broussard:

Along with Scott, former Laker head coach Mike Dunleavy Sr. interviewed with the team in an interest in coming back for a second stint. Although Scott and Dunleavy are the first to get a shot at interviewing with the Lakers for the head coaching vacancy, the storied franchise will likely interview many more candidates in the weeks to come.
