The hits continue to be coming for the Lakers this season. Coming off a 20 point loss to the Indiana Pacers Tuesday night, many Lakers voiced their frustrations with the way the season has gone down. As the Lakers continue to lose, most fans are predicting how many wins this team will have at the end of the season. According to ESPN Stats & Info, the Lakers are on pace to finish with a new franchise record for losses:

With 25 games left this season, ESPN has the Lakers winning eight games before mid-April. This should not come as a shock to fans considering the way the season has gone thus far. Injuries and inconsistent play has plagued the Lakers all year, and with the Lakers facing a tough road down the stretch, wins will certainly be hard to come by.

The Lakers are not a team that is used to having losing seasons. There have only been twelve times since 1949 that the Lakers have finished the season under .500. Clearly, this season has been a struggle, and many fans have already looking to the future. Fans can only remain hopeful that the Lakers can return back to their winning ways soon. Whether that occurs sooner or later remains to be seen.
