Los Angeles Lakers forward Metta World Peace had arguably his best game of the season Wednesday night versus the Los Angeles Clippers. Although World Peace only scored three points, he provided the Lakers with energy and defensive intensity. As a result, the Lakers were able to stop Blake Griffin and ultimately hold-off the Clippers.

After the game, World Peace talked about his increased defensive efforts and his lack-of focus in the games prior.  ‘I got bored with defense because it was so easy for me to stop people over the years,’ World Peace said after practice. ‘I just got bored with it.’

The Lakers need a repeat performance by World Peace if they want to continue to climb the Western Conference standings. The team had been missing energy and passion, but World Peace brought that on Wednesday. He played an impressive 38 minutes and showed the world he still has that ‘Ron Artest’ left in him.
